Our founding partner and creative director, Thomas Gerlach brings 25 years of brand consulting and design experience to clients in Spain, Europe, the United States and Latin America.
Founding Partner, Creative Director & Brand Consultant
Strategic thinking that leads to creative design is what truly can make a difference to a brand, so that it can stand out and compete effectively.
Thomas is a graphic designer, creative director and expert consultant in brand creation and management. He is a results- oriented creative thinker and is enjoys leading multidisciplinary teams to make important contributions to the success of brand and communication programs.
With over 30 years of experience in brand design and consulting for clients in Europe and the Americas, he is currently directing brand projects for clients in Spain, the US, and Ecuador.
Thomas graduated with honours from the Special One Year Masters Program in Graphic Design of Art Center College of Design. Pasadena, CA. USA. He received a BA in Graphic Design from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design, Kent, UK.
Thomas is a native English and Spanish speaker. He loves teaching branding & communications and is an enthusiastic landscape photographer.
Adriana has over 25 years of experience in advertising, marketing and branding in multinational firms, both in services and consumer goods. As Strategy Director she has helped her develop a deep understanding of clients´ marketing opportunities and creating differentiated positioning in their markets.
She was Marketing Manager in Sodexo, in Parmalat (dairy manufacturer) for 10 years, and Ice Cream and Detergents Divisions Marketing Manager for Unilever. She launched the Magnum ice cream brand in Venezuela. Adriana has been founding partner in branding firms, such as Unlimited Brand and currently her branding firm AKBranding. She has led strategy and design teams and handled client relations in FutureBrand´s affiliate partner in Venezuela. She has directed many clients accounts, such as: Nestlé / Dairy Partners America, Sanofi Laboratories, DaycoHost, RS21 sports brand, Tecnoconsult, Alimentos AguaBlanca ), Perfumes Factory, Farmatodo, Caroní Optical Group, National Autonomous Cinema Center, Venezuela, RefriAmerica, Espacio Anna Frank, Melao Fast Fashion, Mon Réve, OCEX Perú in The Netherlands.
Adriana has a degree in Social Communications, Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, in Caracas, Venezuela, and has a MSc in International Marketing from Strathclyde University, in Scotland, UK.

Abelardo is a business strategy and branding consultant with extensive international experience. He brings more than 30 years experience in the definition and execution of marketing strategies. He was Director of Strategic Marketing for Banco Urquijo, Commercial Director of Warner Music and Product Manager at Kraft General Foods and 3M. He is an international strategy consultant in various ICEX programs, Chambers of Commerce and international promotion agencies in various Autonomous Communities, as well as in projects financed by Multilateral Organizations, especially Europe Aid.
He has been founder and director of Giraffa Comunicación and General Managing Partner of Integral Communication Lines, a group with offices in Spain and Latin America, and is a lecturer in various forums and professor of International Branding in the Joan Costa Master’s «MasterBrand» program, taught online at various Ibero-American universities.
He is currently a member of the international commission of the Marketing Association of Spain.
