Repositioning, brand identity renewal and development of visual personality and key communication formats.

UNIR, an online university headquartered in Logroño and Madrid, has students in more than 15 countries, in Spain and Latin America primarily. Its stated mission is to bring the university to the home, offering students an outstanding academic levels and a rewarding learning experience. In late 2012 UNIR asked us to help re-position its brand and identity. Although still a young and pioneering online business, UNIR recognized that its positioning did not communicate aspirational or differential attributes and that its graphic identity did not reflect the actual academic level nor did it fulfil the brand´s potential.



The process began with a comprehensive investigation into company’s founding values and the brand´s attributes and personality. From there we proceeded to develop a new brand Identity and expression reflecting the differential attributes identified:

We continue to assist UNIR in evolving their brand positioning as the company matures and offers an ever expanding academic program.
